We accept a day of celebration as an incredible, temporary world. Leaving room in the schedule for it to take on a life of its own is definitely encouraged. We experiment, push, sweat, hustle, and cry to give others something genuine. It won’t be about us. It won’t be anything pre-conceived. We come with no expectations to allow things to evolve organically. We respect individuals, imperfections, and fight any urges to fabricate or manufacture. (Unless someone needs help assembling something; we’re quite handy with knots and jerry-rigging.)

A 1968, 26′ Airstream that occasionally houses the small living efforts of Mary, The Joel, and their two cats. Currently it rests at the top of a mountain outside Santa Cruz, CA. Showering and doing dishes outside is highly under-rated.
This is the finished living room/kitchenette area. It’s where our mad Tetris skillz came in handy.
Our neighbor is just a fence away from the airstream clearing, with a baby citrus orchard on the other side. He likes carrots, and apples...
